Kate Gaskin is a person and a poet. She grew up in a small town in central Alabama and has also lived in Texas, Nebraska, Colorado, and Florida. .

Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Cimarron Review, Guernica, Alaska Quarterly Review, Passages North, Blackbird, 32 Poems, Pleiades, and The Southern Review among others. She is a recipient of a Tennessee Williams Scholarship in poetry to the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, as well as the winner of The Pinch’s 2017 Literary Award in Poetry.
